These Tools WILL Save You Money

Grocery Budget Makeover.

Image result for grocery budget makeover logoConfession…I chronically overspend on groceries. I know you don’t because you are better than me. Seriously, I don’t know what it is about food but I believe it is my one and only weakness. I just love delicious food and I have almost zero self-control when it comes to limiting my food budget. That is why money saving apps (like Ibotta) and courses like the Grocery Budget Makeover are a God-send for me!

I know that unless I’m doing a Zero Day Challenge or something I will be spending money at Starbucks, and several other drive-thrus each and every month so I must WIN at the grocery store. The Grocery Budget Makeover course will teach you tips about grocery shopping that I swear you have never heard of in your life. It is only open a few days of the year so if you think you might be interested in the future then get on the waiting list now.

Amazon Prime Shipping (Free 30 Day Trial).

Image result for amazon prime logoUnless you live under a rock you have heard about Amazon. If you are an introvert like me then you probably even do most of your shopping there to avoid…um…people. When you shop on Amazon for most things then a Prime Membership is a MUST HAVE. With Amazon Prime you get free, unlimited two day shipping (with no minimum purchase amount).

Other perks of the membership include thousands of free movies and TV shows at your disposal. I have to tell you, that is a dream for a girl who refuses to pay for cable. But that’s not all…a Prime membership also allows you to borrow Kindle books (that are apart of the Kindle unlimited program) for FREE! You can even download and read my book, Financial Fitness on your Kindle, iPad or computer today. Need I say more? Oh yeah, if you click my link you get a 30 day free trial. #winning.

Ibotta.

Image result for ibotta logoA friend from work taught me about Ibotta. Since I’m always talking about money, I think I randomly mentioned that I wish there was a way I could save on groceries without clipping coupons. Right after I said that she immediately whipped out her iPhone and gave me her Ibotta referral code.

I signed up right away and have been saving on food and other items at places like Target, Walmart, Amazon and Albertson’s grocery store. Now I am passing my referral code on to you so you can start saving so sign up today…it’s too easy!

Budgeting For Budget Haters.

budgeting for budget hatersOnly a true Personal Finance Junkie would take a course to learn how to budget better.  If your finances are as important to you as they are to me then you have to take the Budgeting For Budget Haters course. I know you probably have everything under control but I am a firm believer in “you can never learn too much”.

I signed up for this course after over a decade of reading every single personal finance book on the face of this Earth. Guess what? I still learned some things! The course was created by Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Adam Hagerman and the man knows his stuff. When I enrolled the course was $97 and Adam had a payment plan option as well. If you hate budgeting then definitely check out the course, Adam makes it suck a little less.

Capital One 360.

Image result for capital one 360 logoI LOVE Capital One 360 for a few different reasons. The number one reason why I have been a loyal Capital One 360 customer (since way back when they were ING Direct) is because this bank makes it incredibly easy to separate your savings into multiple accounts and to automate your finances.

This bank also has a really cool refer a friend program where if you open an account you can receive a Cash Money BONUS (cha-ching!). What’s even better is your friend who hooked you up will get a few dollars as well if you meet the terms when opening your account. Check it out and use my Capital One 360 referral link if you decide to open an account so we both get a little bonus. 🙂 You know your girl has student loans to pay!

My Go To Self-Publishing Materials And Resources

Self-Publishing School.

self publishing schoolWould you like to write your book and see it published on Amazon in the next 90 days? Self-Publishing School can make it happen. I took the course and it worked for me so I highly recommend it to anyone who is serious about learning how to go from dreamer to published author! Check it out. Sign up for the free Self-Publishing School resources and see if it feels right for you.

Happy Self-Publishing (Free Resources).

Happy Self-PublishingTake the FREE Self-Publishing Video Course at Happy Self-Publishing. Learn the ins and outs of the self-publishing business from an expert who has published well over a dozen books and is making a full time living off of her self-publishing empire. I have not personally used any of the paid courses or services over at Happy Self-Publishing so I can’t vouch for the quality of those. I can say that the owner of the site, Jyotsna was in my Self-Publishing School cohort and she stood out as one of the most knowledgeable and helpful students from the start. I’m sure her paid program and services are just as awesome.

Scrivener Word Processing Software.

Scrivener The best word processing software I have encountered to date! If you have ever written a document over 100 pages then you know that you can become lost and disorganized QUICK! Scrivener Software solves that problem. With so many different ways to organize your writing using this software you will never feel overwhelmed by your large writing projects. Scrivener was the key to me actually being able to successfully complete my first book. They usually have a free trail going on so check it out. Fair warning, the learning curve on this program is steep but if you stick to it, it will be worth it!

Learn Scrivener Fast.

Learn Scrivener FastSo I can’t recommend Scrivener without letting you know about the course that teaches you how to use the software. The developer, Joseph Micheal actually did a special webinar for my self-publishing school cohort and I pretty much learned everything I know about Scrivener during that training. With this course you will learn how to make Scrivener do exactly what you want it to do. Scrivener is like my iPhone, I discover a new feature on it every day. This course is not necessary to learn how to use the software but it will cut your learning curve dramatically giving you more time to focus on your writing.

Books To Get You Started On Your Author Journey.

If you want to become a published author but don’t have the financial resources to invest in a course like Self-Publishing School right now, don’t worry…you have options! I have read all four of the books below and I can assure you that all of the information that you need to successfully publish your first book can be found in these books. You will learn a whole lot for the fraction of the price of a course. Once you start making money off of your first book however, I do recommend that you save some to take a course in order to get to the next level. Happy reading and good luck!
